Reckson has a National Diploma in mechanical engineering. He has spent the past 20 years working as a design engineer in different companies. He started working as a draughtsman for Denel Dynamics back in 2000 and during the four years he spent at Denel he managed to consolidate his experience in both 2d and 3d designs.
Career Experience
He later joined Transwerk (Transnet Rail Engineering) where he was managing the drawing office and the control of drawings issued for major contracts. He was later in charge with all the mechanical planning when building pressure vessel prototypes. He left Transnet Rail Engineering in 2004 to join a consulting engineering company. He was responsible for the detailed designs of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, air coolers, storage tanks and any other pressurised equipment and pipe stress analysis.

Work experience in maintenance, projects & design sections of the Bell Equipment in Richards Bay. Mechanical Piping services in petrochemical plants, Fuel Depots piping systems and fire protection for fuel service stations, Community Healthcare Centers and commercial buildings.
